Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a number of rights regarding your personal data.

This page explains what those rights are and how to exercise them.

Your rights

Right to access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how it is used.

Right to rectification

If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct it.

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

You can request that we delete your personal data. We will act on this request unless we are required by law to retain it.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to ask us to pause the processing of your data — for example, while you contest its accuracy or object to its use.

Right to data portability

Where processing is based on your consent or a contract, you can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or ask us to transfer it directly to another service where technically feasible.

Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing purposes. If you object to receiving emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Right to withdraw consent

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights

To make a request, email us at info@shegetsto.org with the subject line "Data Rights Request". Please include your name and, where relevant, the email address associated with your account or subscription.

We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. In complex cases we may extend this by a further two months — we will let you know if this applies.

There is no charge for making a request.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, or that we have not responded adequately to your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian data protection authority:

Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (GBA) Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels Belgium
